ABI peak climbing with Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition is a trekking peak climbing amongst the climbing mountain in Nepal. ABI Peak, previously known as Cholo and Kangchung Peak has been recently opened trekking peak for climbers to climbing. ABI sister peaks can be reached by Kangchung La. Climbers and mountaineers take this peak as technical peak. ABI peak climbing is kind of warm up for expeditionary prepreparation to climb above 8000m mountain.
ABI peak is lies in the Everest or Khumbu region of Nepal. ABI Peak climbing is perfect for ice climbing and high altitude acclimatization. It requires careful ascent due to the technical ridges towards its peak. ABI Peak is a moderate climbing peak. The first climbing permit of ABI peak was issued in 2002. It has been successfully climbed less than 6 times. Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition's climbing itinerary guarantees proper acclimatization and the more chances of success to the summit of ABI peak.

Day 03:Fly to Lukla flight and Trek to Phakding from Lukla.
Day 04:Trek to Namche Bazaar from Phakding (3440 m).

Day 2Kathmandu (1350m) sightseeing tourAfter breakfast, proceed to sightseeing tour to heritage sites of Kathmandu. Visit to Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu durbar square tour.
Boudhanath Stupa is one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries. Pashipatinath temple is the most famous Hindu temple in Asia, located in the banks of Bagmati river where men are meditating, pilgrims are bathing and occasionally funeral pyres means dead body are burning/cremating on the ghats. Then come back to hotel and introduction meeting with your guide in the afternoon. You can ask any questions regard the trekking and climbing with your guide on this group meeting and the final preparations for the trip.
Day 3Fly to Lukla flight and Trek to Phakding from Lukla.Get 30min flight to Lukla and start trekking following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi. On the way trekking, we can see Nupla (5885m), Kusum Kang (6367m) and stop for lunch at Ghat and then continue trek to Phakding. This is an easy trekking today on well trekking trail, gradually up hill and downhill equal to flat trekking path.
Day 4Trek to Namche Bazaar from Phakding (3440 m).Phakding Namche Bazzar hiking is tougher than Lukla Phakding walking. The first part of the trek is less ups and downs to Lunch spot. Then the second part of trekking is tougher than first part. It is a 3 hours steep uphill trekking to Namche bazzar is surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges and opens out only where it faces the Bhote Koshi. The village is a central hub of Khumbu where you will have nice food, accommodation and trekking climbing equipment with internet café and bank.
Day 5Trek to Dole (4040m) This is six hours trekking to Dole, mostly uphill except the first 2 hours trekking trail to Sanasa. On the way trekking, you could see Thamserku, Kantega and Ama Dablam.
Day 6Trek to Machhermo (4150m) This is a five hours trekking on steadily climb trailalong the side of the valley where the small and thorny bushes give way to scrub juniper as the altitude increases. The trail passes many summer settlements, which are used when yaks are taken to these pastures to graze in the summer months. While trekking up on the trail there are excellent views of Cho Oyu, Kantega and Thamserku peak.
Day 7Trek to Gokyo (4750m) This is a short 4/5 hours waling to Gokyo Lake following scenic path mostly uphill. Gokyo Lake is known as Dudh pokhari, there is hotel settlement on the eastern shore of Gokyo Lake. The scenery is awesome with the reflection of Cho Oyu and Gyachung Kang on the emerald lake Gokyo.
Day 8Trek to Thangna (4950m) Trek for 4/5 hours on glacier trail and moraine. Stop night halt at Thangna.
Day 9Trek to ABI Peak Base Camp
Day 10Trek to ABI High Camp
Day 11Summit Mt Abi Peak (6097m) and return to Base Camp
Day 12Trek ABI base camp to Dzonglha (4830m) over Cho La Pass (5330m)Trek to Dzonglha crossing Cho La, it takes 5/6 hours trek on a steep uphill and downhill trekking trail.
Day 13Trek to PhericheTrek downhill on moraine and glacier to Pheriche, it takes 5/6 hours walk.
Day 14Trek to Namche BazaarTrek back to Namche via Tengboche monastery. Today is the longest day trekking; it takes nearly 9/10 hours.
Day 15Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m) The last day of your trek for 5/6 hours leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla. The trek is pleasant, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote-Koshi River crossing it three times. Then we arrive at Lukla.
Day 16Lukla Kathmandu flight.You take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu.
