About Trip -

Chekigo Peak (6143m) lies in the Gaurishankar mountain region, known as Rolwaling Region. Chekigo Peak climbing permit issued first in 2002 and since then Mt Chekiko has had less than 100 attempts made on its summit. The designed climb Itinerary of Chekigo peak with Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition is Charikot-Simigaon-Beding-base camp.

The first summit of Chekigo Peak was climbed by Bruce Normand from UK and Oliver Rotz from Switzerland via the west face on 15th May 2005. The region is easily accessible from Kathmandu by road. Then trek through mountain terrain, visiting different ethnics’ people and some religious sites like Biju gompa and Kalinchok. A himalayan journey from greenery to the glacier is an awesome climbing in Nepal. Be on the Chekigo Peak Summit and views other mountain peak includes Lantang Gaurishankar, Ganesh Himal, Shishapanga, Dorjee Lakpa and Jugal Himal.

Outline Itinerary -

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition, then transfer to hotel.

Day 02:Kathmandu (1350m) sightseeing tour.

Day 03:Drive to Shingati (950m).

Day 04:Trek to Jagat (1150m).

Day 05:Trek to Simigaun (1990m).

Day 06:Trek to Gyalche (2990m).

Day 07:Trek to Beding (3690m).

Day 08:Trek to Chekigo base camp.

Day 09:Climbing Period

Day 20:Trek to Beding.

Day 21:Trek to Simigaon.

Day 22:Trek to Jagat

Day 23:Trek to Shingati

Day 24:Drive to Kathmandu.

Day 25:In Kathmandu

Day 26:Fly out. Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition's representative will drop you at airport before Three hours of your flight schedule.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition, then transfer to hotel.

Day 2Kathmandu (1350m) sightseeing tour.After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing tour to heritage sites of Kathmandu. Visit to Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu durbar square tour.

Day 3Drive to Shingati (950m). A scenic drives to Sigati that takes 6/7 hours drive.

Day 4Trek to Jagat (1150m). It is 5/6 hours trek to Jagat.

Day 5Trek to Simigaun (1990m). Trek 5/6 hours to Simigaun on up and down hill trekking trail.

Day 6Trek to Gyalche (2990m). 5/6 hours trek mostly on uphill and downhill.

Day 7Trek to Beding (3690m). Trek 5/6 hours trek. A small Sherpa village, but it is beautiful.

Day 8Trek to Chekigo base camp. Trek or climb to Chekigo base camp, it takes 4/5 hours.

Day 9Climbing Period Climbing and summit time for Chekigo Peak.

Day 20Trek to Beding. Trek back to Beding from base camp.

Day 21Trek to Simigaon. Trek back to Simigaun, it takes 6/7 hours walk, mostly downhill trek.

Day 22Trek to Jagat Trek back to Jagat, 6/7 hours downhill walk.

Day 23Trek to Shingati Trek 5/6 hours downhill trek.

Day 24Drive to Kathmandu. 6/7 hours bus drive to Kathmandu on a scenic mountain road.

Day 25In Kathmandu Rest and final shopping day in Kathmandu Valley You can extend your trip in Nepal to explore the Jungle safari in Chitwan National park or Buddhist Pilgrimage trip to Lumbini, Birthland of Buddha or other part of Nepal's Trip or Can take your Flight to your destination.

Day 26Fly out. Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition's representative will drop you at airport before Three hours of your flight schedule.
