About Trip -

Dhampus Trekking is two day hike to the Dhampus hill with Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition. Dhampus Trekking is extremely short trek but quite a pleasing trek. Walking through sparse villages, farm terraces and short stretch of woods are great pleasure of Dhampus Trekking. Dhampus Trekking offers you face to face views of a long range of Annapurna and other mountains. Also Dhampus Trekking offers the amazing sunsets on the Himalayas at evening and sunrise.

Dhampus Trekking is not only a Mountain View point but also a small, ethnic Gurung village. A hike to Dhampus will give an opportunity to watch the daily lives of these villagers from mulching the buffalos to their daily works on the farms.

Outline Itinerary -

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks ansd Expedition.Then transfer to Hotel.

Day 02:After breakfast Proceed for sightseeing tour to heritage sites of Kathmandu city visiting, the ancient palace square also known as the Durbar Square where you will witness the ancient palaces and the temples, Kasthmandap temple made out of a single tree during ancient age, temple of the living goddesses the Kumari, etc. Later, proceed towards Swoyambhunath stupa, one of the Buddhist shrine and also known as the monkey temple situated on the hillock towards the west of Kathmandu and overlooking the Kathmandu valley. Unlike other stupas, this stupa has got a spiral shape which has typical significance. PM: Proceed on to another city of the valley called Patan city which is also known as the city of fine arts where one can witness splendid artifacts of the medieval period. Afterwards, drive back to the Hotel and rest of the evening will be at leisure

Day 03:AM: Proceed on sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath temple, the holiest shrine of the Hindu people where the non Hindu people are not allowed to get inside the temple and they are allowed to witness the temple from the view point, situated on the opposite side of the main temple. Later, proceed to Boudhnath stupa, the Buddhist pilgrimage and biggest of it’s kind in Asia. PM: Proceed on sightseeing tour to Bhaktapur city, also known BHADGAON and the city of devotees. It is the third major city of Kathmandu valley and in many ways the most medieval city.

Day 04:Fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu. . Afternoon Pokhara valley sightseeing.

Day 05:After breakfast, drive to Phedi where Dhampus Trek start, then trek to Dhampus Hill. We provide lunch in Dhampus then we offer village tour with amazing snowcapped mountain views.

Day 06:Early morning Observe sunrise on the Himalayas, then Trek to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara.

Day 07:Pokhara sightseeing. overnight at Pokhara.

Day 08:Fly Back or drive back to Kathmandu. Shopping at Kathmandu/Souvenir from Nepal.Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 09:Fly back to your destination.
