About Trip -

Island peak Base Camp Trek would be the best destination for the all those adventurer seekers if you have enough time for this trip. Where you could be acclimatization during your trail so it will be the easy to trek to the Island peak after the 3 high passes such as Renjo-La (5,360m), Cho-La(5,360m) and Khongma-La(5,535m). These are the highest point of the trek. Being with an experienced guide your trip will be the safe and more comfortable.

Island peak is located at the heart of Khumbu region that combines several days trekking into the Everest Base Camp until Dingbuche. This peak gives you spectacular close-up view of the world’s highest mountains including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, and Mt. Makalu and many more. Island peak base camp trekking is the part of the south ridge of Mt. Lhotse-Shar and the main land forms a semi circle of cliffs that rise to the north part of the summits of Nuptse Peak, likewise, Lhotse at Middle peak and the Lhotse-Shar. Chopolu and Makalu situated at the east part of the Island peak. Similarly, Baruntse, Ama Dablam and Amphu located at the south side. From Dingboche the mountain is seen as an Island in a sea of ice. Imja Tse that will offer us pleasant climb but also gives some of the remarkable view of the Everest region. You can have view from the summit and many giants’ mountains that stand on Everest region such as Nuptse(7,879m) ,Lhotse( 8,501m), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m) and Lhotse -Shar (8,383m) that create smi circle in the north part. Also other views of Makalu (8,475m) in the east, Baruntse and Amadablam in the south part add more allure in climbing on the way of our trail.

Outline Itinerary -

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition thentransfer to hotel.

Day 02:Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla 2,827 m trek to Phakding 2,610 m 3/4 hrs overnight at Lodge

Day 03:Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m 5/6 hrs overnight at Lodge

Day 04:Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar and visit Everest view point (Everest Lodge) back to Namche Bazar overnight at Lodge.

Day 05:Trek to Thame 3,800 m 4/5 hrs overnight at Lodge.

Day 06:Trek to Lunden 4300m, 5 / 6 hours over night at Lodge

Day 07:Trek to Rejo-la pass 5360m, than Gokyo 4800m over night at Lodge

Day 08:Early morning climb to Gokyo-Ri for spectaculars views of Mt. Everest, Makalu , cho-You etc than back to Lodge after breakfast Trek to Thanak 4700m, 4 hours over night at Lodge

Day 09:Trek cross the pass Cho-la 5360m, than trek down to Dzong-la 4830m over night at Lodge

Day 10:Trek to Lobuche 4910m, 4 / 5 hours over night at Lodge

Day 11:Trek to Gorak Shep 5170m, 3 / 4 hours over night at Lodge

Day 12:Early morning climb to kalapathar 5,545m enjoy the incredible view of Mont Everest, khumbase, Pumari, range of chho-yu, khumbu Glacier Amadablam, Everest Base Camp etc then trek down to Lobuche 7/8 hours overnight at Lodge.

Day 13:Trek cross the pass Kongma-la 5535m than trek down to Chhukung 4730m 5/6 hours over night at Lodge

Day 14:Trek down to Tyangboche 3860m, 5 /6 hours over night at Lodge

Day 15:Trek to Namche Bazar 3,430 m 3/4 hrs overnight at Lodge.

Day 16:Namche Bazaar to Lukla 2,800 m 6/7 hrs overnight at Lodge.

Day 17:Fly back to Kathmandu 35 minute transfer to Hotel with Bed & Breakfast plan.
