Mt. Thamserku(6680m) is a fascinating mountain, located inside Everest region of Nepal. The Mt Thamserku rises with amazing saddle shape in between of two climbing permitted peaks – Kusum Kanguru in North and Kangtega in East. Among all, Mt. Thamserku is one of the challenging and technical peaks in Nepal. The climbing of this fascinating mountain comprises of steep snow slopes and technical climbing sections. Nevertheless the charm of the mountain itself attracts several climbers every year who overcome their fear to achieve the absolute climbing adventure experience. During the expedition period you will be continuously rewarded by striking views of Mt. Everest 8848m, Mt. Cho Oyu 8201m, Mt. Pumori 7161m, Mt. Amadablam 6812m and many other snow-capped peaks within Everest region.
Mt Thamserku Peak Climbing with Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition starts after a short flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. After landing at the airstrip of Lukla, we will follow the very popular – Everest Base Camp Trekking trail to Phakding and then further to Namche Bazaar (The Sherpa Capital). After spending a full day rest for safe acclimatization at Namche Bazaar, we continue our trek over the trail that heads south-west to reach Thamserku Base Camp. At the Base Camp, we will spend an extra leisure day before heading up towards higher camps. Since the climbing of Mt Thamserku requires high level of technical skills and physical fitness, our climbing experts will assist you with climbing training programs.
Properly equipped with all the climbing gears and fully acclimatized we will follow the instructions of our experienced climbing experts, and then gradually ascend towards higher camps before making a final attempt to reach the summit. With the perfect co-ordination between our experienced staffs and your priceless efforts, we will successfully conquer the summit of Mt Thamserku. Our tiring climb to the summit is rewarded with magnificent views of world’s towering mountains including Mt Everest and many other peaks within Everest region. Having achieved the summit, we descend following the same route back to Base Camp. For the return journey we will continue to retrace our steps passing through Namche Bazaar to arrive at Lukla. Our adventurous Thamserku Expedition ends with a scenic flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu.
